About the Building
The Nineteenth Century Club is the headquarters of it’s eponymous Charitable Association. The beautiful Oak Park Landmark building was built in 1928 and is both historically significant and a resource to the community. Many local not-for-profit organizations use the building on a free or affordable space-sharing basis for meetings and events. In 2012 alone, 349 events were held in the building. Of these, 80% were not-for-profit events, while 20% were private event rentals. Funds raised from these 20% of events supports the activities of the Charitable Association.
